Suomessa starttasivat vastikään Frendien viimeisen tuotantokauden jaksot, mutta rapakon takana päivänvalon näki toissapäivänä kovasti kohuttu Frendien spin-off, Joey. MediaGuardianin jutusta voi lukea kootut arviot, joiden mukaan Joey on yhdellä sanalla sanottuna keskinkertainen. Yllättyikö joku?
IMDb:ssä fani tilittää: ”I have been a Friends fan from the first season, Joey always being one of my favorite characters. Watching the premiere episode, my hopes were dashed as the humor was just not there. […] Spinoffs do not work, except for that rare occasion – I do not think that this will be one of them… sorry NBC. You lost a good one with Friends, but don’t think Joey will replace it unless you pump up the funny.”
